In the starting of this lockdown the there is a small critical failure in decision of government.

Prime minister gave his speech but he did not tell about that what stuff should be open or what should not be open.

Due to this the people comes in panic and the people make big groups in front of grocery stores on the day when lockdown was announced.

Later government tell that the essential services are open like-

Food stores, Grocery stores, Milk stores, Meat Shops, Banks, ATMs, Insurance offices are open.

In this state the people should also understand the when lockdown is announced It will happen that the government will not let you buy food either.

These things are also shown in the other countries when lockdown is announced.

The original reason of lockdown is social distancing and less interaction.

But all the people make lines in front of the stores in this situation the virus will spread very easily.

And specially in the wrong decision of government is that the government did not give the clear communication.

Government should also tell the timing of the essential services and grocery stores.

State Government Step and Mistakes

State Governments in Delhi and Karnataka says the essential services and grocery stores to remain open 24 x 7 so that the people will not face any problem.

In the states like Uttarakhand, Government says that grocery and essential product shops to open for only 3 hours it is also a wrong decision,

That if the shops are open only 3 hours then it Will be crowded again so there is no purpose for social distancing.

It is good option to open grocery stores for a long time in a day.

Maharashtra Government Guidelines

The chief minister of Maharashtra gave some guidelines which is also beneficial for you -

1– Whenever people went to stores to buy food or anything avoid touching the products in the stores.

2- Make a separate bag for shopping and place bag separately in homes wash your hands immediately after coming back from shopping.

3- If you are a shop owner you can practice social distancing by making circles on 1 metre for the customers You can make circles or lines or squares by the chocks so that the customer will maintain social distancing.

4- If you are a shop owner than to reduce crowding and risk of virus, shop owner should take orders on WhatsApp and give customers a pick up time.

5- The Maharashtra government request people who deliver essential products to carry their identification card so that they can show their ID cards to police officers.

After receiving delivery wash hands immediately.

Delivery crisis

If we talk about delivery,

The food and grocery companies like big basket, Gofer’s, amazon, Flipkart face many problems because their warehouses are being closed.

Local government is not giving permission to them to open their warehouses because there is no clear cut instructions failure because, on road the police officers and other officers also don’t know that what to open or what should not to open.

There supplies change is interrupting.

There are many media reports we see that there are lakhs of trucks are stopped on the state borders.

And all the drivers are complaining that all the Dhabas and restaurants are closes so they are not able to get foods.

They can eat food where they load their truck and they will not get any food in there driving route so the truck drivers also stopped their work and in the trucks all the grocery products and essential products are loaded.

And then their delivery companies are complaining that the police is attacking on their delivery boys because police thinks that they are normal people which went out from their homes for no reason and the people are beaten by the police officers again there is a communication failure that the police officer don’t know that Who should not be stopped.

However, Guru gram police tweets that the police office on duty should allow the people who are delivering essential products but on the ground level there are Lots of cases to see.

What about people with no ID?

Now the Delhi government said that the people who delivering essential products.

Those people who does not have any ID, they can call on number 1031 to get their E-Passes.

In spite of this it is seen that the people are going out to buy the products and they are beaten by the police.

France

When France declare lockdown,

The government of France issue a one-page letter in that page you write your name and reason why you want to go out.

Whenever you go out from your home take a print out of the page and after that when you see police officer asks show the page you took print and he will ask some question then you can complete your works if you did not have this page the police will fine up to 100 euro.

Work from home

During lockdown people have been told to work from home, it is very easy to work from home for the people who are in corporate jobs, finance jobs.

But it is hard for the people who are doing jobs like production. Transportation, construction, maintenance.

If they will not come to work their companies will not be able to generate profits,

If their companies will not able to generate profit they will not pay to their workers and then these workers will lose their jobs.

Not in India this happens in the whole world.

It is applicable on those who works on retail, restaurants, Aviation, Construction, Tourism they will lose their jobs and they did not have money.

Due to this reason many countries giving direct cash transfers to these workers.

UK Government will give 80% of the salary to the workers if their work is stop due to the lockdown or due to covid-19.

In USA the government will pay 1200$ to every adult to fight lockdowns.

But in India the unorganized sector will effect very badly.

Daily wages labourers

Almost 80% of the workforce in India are in unorganised sector.

In this the workers are work on their daily basis money if they did not get money for 21 days they will totally destroyed.

All the construction workers in a large number are going back to their villages because they did not have any income source, they did not have food, not even their home.

Delhi Government and Kerala government providing free food in their shelters. if you see these shelters they are very crowded because these people do not have food and in the night they even did not have a place to sleep.

Due to lockdown the government schools in India should be open and make night shelter,so that these people get place to sleep in night.

People should give paid leave to their workers like drivers and gardeners because they meet new people every day so it is dangerous for them and also dangerous for you.

Uttar Pradesh

1- In UP there is free Ration to 1.6 crore people.

2- Government will give 1000 INR to daily wage workers.

Delhi

1- In Delhi there is free Ration with 50% extra quantity.

2- People in Delhi get double pension of 72 lacks.

Punjab

In Punjab government will give 3000 INR to construction workers.

Haryana

In Haryana there is special assistance for the BPL.

Kerala

1- In Kerala government will help people by 20,000 crore revival package.

Himachal Pradesh

In Himachal government will help poor people by 500 crore relief package.

Central Government Economic Packages

1- The central government in India announces 1.7 lakhs crore relief scheme for the people.

In this package every farmer will get 2000 INR in the month of April

2- For women there is 500 INR per month for 3 months for PMJD (Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana holders)

3 - Free gas cylinders PMUY (Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana )

4 - Wage workers under 15,000 per month salary get 24% of their monthly wages in PF account.

5 - For 80 crore individuals get double food grains for next 3 months.

6 - MNREGA wages increase from 20 INR

7 - NHAI suspended toll collection till lockdown.

8 - GST filing is delayed up to 30 June.

It is also a good step by the governments during this lockdown but in Steps will have to be taken from such a situation in the coming time.

United Kingdom Economic Package

In UK gives economic package 15% of their GDP to peoples in UK.

America Economic Package

USA gives economic package of 2 trillion dollars.
