Testing

There are two type of testing -

Swab Testing

It is testing in which the Doctors insert Swab in Nose or Throat.

Blood Test 

It is a testing in which the Doctors  take sample of your blood from your finger tip.


Blood test checks that how many anti-bodies are present or not in the body to fight with virus.

Result

if the result is positive then anti-bodies are present in the body.


If the anti-bodies are present in the body then at some point in previous days you have corona virus even if the symptoms are not shown.


But Body generates anti-bodies to fight with the virus so that it is showing positive.


It means that you came under the category in which you have corona virus but the symptoms are not showing.


If the test is negative


if the test is negative then you does not have corona virus.


experts estimates that there are 40%-50% people who have corona virus but they are not showing any symptoms.

Difference Between Swab and Blood Test

Swab Test Tells that at this time currently you have corona virus or not.


Blood Test Will Tell you that at this time to fight with virus your body has anti-bodies or not.

C is control Line,

Procedure

when we insert blood sample then there is always a red color line which tells that the indicator is working perfectly or not.


if the C is not showing any line then the indicator is faulty.


after the test if the line appears on C then the test is negative.


it means that there are no anti-bodies present in your body to fight with corona.

G is IgG Anti-Bodies

IgG are those anti-bodies which shows very late.

M is IgM Anti-Bodies 

IgM are those anti-bodies which shows first in your blood.

Indicator Understanding

if you have recently corona virus then on the indicator it shows the line on both C and M which is a positive result.


It means that you recently suffer from the corona virus and you are infected with virus exactly 4-9 days ago.


if the line appears on all C, G, M 


then it means that there are both IgG and IgM anti-bodies are present.


It means that you are suffering from corona virus and you are infected with virus exactly 10-25 days ago.


if the line appears on G then it means that you have corona virus very long time ago which is more than 25 days ago.

Accuracy of result

there is 99% accuracy for negative result


there is 98.4% accuracy for positive result


there is only 1% chance that the result are wrong.

Questions

if you have corona virus 30 days ago then you are immune or not.


experts said that if any person have corona virus more than 30 days ago then the person is immune.


if a person already have corona virus then how much chance that the person will again have corona virus.


If a person is again suffered from corona virus then there is very high chance that the virus is not deadly and very high chance that the person will not show any symptoms.


there is zero symptoms if you does not have any symptoms and doctor says that you have corona virus then there are lot of people who have virus but the symptoms are not shown.

Iceland

Iceland is one of the country where the lock down are not declared and also Iceland is one of the few country to conduct the free test for corona virus.


Iceland tested the 5% of its population and there total population is 3,60,000 (3.60 lacks) and they observe that 1% of there population have corona virus and out of these 1% the 50% of the people have no symptoms of corona virus.


when the virus is in its initial stages then the people who have no symptoms are spreading the virus because they also don't know that they have corona virus or not.

if you does not have corona virus then if you go to hospital for test then you also suffered from the corona virus.
